It is almost unbelievable how every time the 76ers pick their next great player, who is going to step in and change the culture as a rookie, but instead they are injured. First it was Joel Embiid, then Ben Simmons and now Markelle Fultz. While Fultz is not expected to miss a full season like the other two did, his shoulder injury could be a nagging injury that might effect his shot the entire year.
This team can not catch a break, just when they thought they could have a complete team and build their chemistry together, one of the key players gets hurt. As a Bucks fan myself I can’t say that having another up and coming team in the East have their stars get hurt isn’t good for my team. But as a fan of basketball it is more interesting and entertaining to see what the 76ers could actually be when fully healthy. It will be seen how serious the injury is to Fultz, but it looks as if a brewing rivalry between the Bucks and 76ers will soon be the matchup that determines the Eastern Conference.
